French Carved White Gray Veined Marble Mantel

This mantel is carved in the French Regency style from a stunning white marble with large-scale gray veining. Hand-carved beading adorns the apron, leading to two floral motifs above each pilaster. The sides of the jambs are carved into simple scrolls and a ribbon detail framed in beading runs down the face of the jambs. This piece was acquired from an estate located in Greenwich, Connecticut. While not visible in the photos, the cast iron surround is included. This mantel is in very good condition with wear consistent with its age. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
